Device Isolation Symptoms

  • On screen there will be an immediate pop-up notification in the lower right corner of your main screen with the following message: “Your administrator has caused Microsoft Defender to disconnect your device. Contact your help desk.” (See Image 1 below)

  • The system will be disconnected from the internet and will not be able to browse the web.

  • If the initial pop-up notification was missed, the message can be viewed by opening the Notification Center in the bottom right corner of your main display. (See Image 2 below)
