Course Access
Got to the website: http://d2l.sdstate.edu to log into Desire2Learn, the SDSU course delivery system.
Select Non-SDSU User Login.
Your username is your Firstname.Lastname (Case Sensitive).
Your password is your Firstname.Lastname (Case Sensitive).
- Upon login, you will be requested to change your password
- If you have problems logging in, please contact the Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) at 605-688-5745 or the SDSU Support Desk at 605-688-6776 or via email at sdsu.supportdesk@sdstate.edu.
Click on the course you are registered for. Once you enter the course, you will see this toolbar at the top of the page. Explore these tabs:
- Course Home brings you to the main page of the course.
- Content opens access to the course modules and many important course documents and information. In addition to reading assignments, you will find the course handbook, both the theory and clinical syllabi, tips for success in working through the course, and information you will need for clinical. Please review this important information before beginning to read module materials and take exams.
- The Discuss tab brings you to a course discussion board and allows you to post and respond to questions from other participants.
- Click on Quizzes when you are ready to take an exam. Begin with the practice exam, then follow with subsequent modules one, two, etc. Do not open a quiz until you are ready to take and complete it.
- Access your module post-test Grades on the final tab.
