How do I delete templates and PowerForms in DocuSign?

How to Delete a Template

  1. Sign into DocuSign and navigate to your Templates tab.
  2. In the My Templates tab, locate the template you are wanting to delete.
  3. Select the dropdown next to the template and select Delete.
  4. In the Delete Template dialogue box, select Delete to confirm.

Note: The template will then be relocated to your Deleted bin for 24 hours. Once 24 hours has passed, the template will be permanently deleted from your account.

How to Delete a PowerForm

Option 1 - If you know which template your Powerform is associated with.

  1. Sign into DocuSign and navigate to your Templates tab.
  2. In the My Templates tab, locate the template that the PowerForm is associated with and select it.
  3. Scroll down to the Associated PowerForms section.
  4. Click the dropdown menu next to the PowerForm you are wanting to delete and select Delete PowerForm.

Option 2 - If you are unsure which template your PowerForm is associated with.

  1. Sign into DocuSign and navigate to your Manage tab.
  2. Select the PowerForms menu item from the left hand side menu.
  3. Search for your PowerForm.
  4. Select the dropdown next to your PowerForm and select Delete.
  5. In the Delete PowerForm dialogue box, select Delete to confirm.

Note: When a PowerForm is deleted, only the PowerForm itself is deleted. The template used to create the PowerForm as well as any signed envelopes generated from the PowerForm will remain in your account.
