Question
How do I request or check out assistive technology equipment?
Answer
If you are a current student registered with the Office of Student Accessibility, you can request assistive technology through your Accommodate account.
To submit a request:
- Log in to Accommodate.
- Click Accommodation > Supplemental in the left sidebar.
- Complete the Accessibility Accommodation Form.
The Office of Student Accessibility will review your request. You will receive a notification in Accommodate with the decision.
If approved, you will work with Dan Hagen, Accommodation Specialist, regarding the checkout of equipment.
Note: You first need to have your accommodation approved before requesting equipment, see Requesting Academic Accommodations for the First Time.
