How do I connect my Windows computer to Wifi?
Answer
Select the
Network icon
on the taskbar (Note: It may show as a globe, a monitor or a Wifi symbol)
Select the Wifi Network you want to connect to:
Students:
SDSUStudent
Faculty / Staff:
SDSUFacStaff
Select
Connect
(you can also checkmark
Connect automatically
)
Enter your credentials:
Students:
Full Jacks Email
and email password
Faculty / Staff:
FirstName.LastName
and email password
Select
Connect
You will see the message "Continue Connecting? If you expect to find SDSUFacStaff in this location, go ahead and connect. Otherwise, it may be a different network with the same name. Show certificate details"
Select
Connect
If the connection was successful it will now say "Connected, secured"
