How do I connect my Windows computer to Wifi?

Answer

  1. Select the Network icon on the taskbar (Note: It may show as a globe, a monitor or a Wifi symbol)
  2. Select the Wifi Network you want to connect to:
    • Students: SDSUStudent
    • Faculty / Staff: SDSUFacStaff
  3. Select Connect (you can also checkmark Connect automatically)
  4. Enter your credentials:
    1. Students: Full Jacks Email and email password
    2. Faculty / Staff: FirstName.LastName and email password
  5. Select Connect
  6. You will see the message "Continue Connecting? If you expect to find SDSUFacStaff in this location, go ahead and connect. Otherwise, it may be a different network with the same name. Show certificate details"
  7. Select Connect
  8. If the connection was successful it will now say "Connected, secured"
