How do I connect my Mac to Wifi?

Answer

1. In the Menu Bar at the top right of your screen, select the Wifi icon
2. Select the Wifi Network you want to connect to:
   • Students: SDSUStudent
   • Faculty / Staff: SDSUFacStaff
3. Enter your credentials (leave Mode to Automatic):
   1. Students: Full Jacks Email and email password
   2. Faculty / Staff: FirstName.LastName and email password
4. You will see a Verify Certificate notification:
   • Authenticating to network "SDSUStudent" or "SDSUFacStaff"
   • Before authenticating to server "radius.sdstate.edu," you should examine the server's certificate to ensure that it is appropriate for this network. To view the certificate, click 'Show Certificate."
5. Click Continue
6. Turn Off Limit IP address tracking
   • Monterey and earlier:
     1. Select the Apple menu (top-left corner of your screen)
     2. Select System Preferences
     3. Select Network
     4. Uncheck Limit IP Address Tracking
   • Ventura:
     1. Select the Apple menu (top-left corner of your screen)
     2. Select System Settings
     3. Select Wifi (left-hand column)
     4. Select Details...
     5. Toggle Limit IP Address Tracking off (toggle to gray)
