How do I install SPSS on Mac with a Premium Authorized User code license?
Answer
- Refer to the email you received after submitting the request form for the download link.
- Uninstall any previous versions of SPSS
- Important: Download the entire installation folder (example: SPSS Version 31 - Mac OS) to your system before running the installation
- To begin the installation, double click "31.0-IM-S31STATC-MAC-MD001.pkg"
- The Installation Wizard will begin. Click on Continue
- Read and accept the license terms by clicking Continue
- Click Agree to continue
- Click Install for installing SPSS in the default installation path.
- When asked, provide your user name and password of your Mac account to allow the installation
- SPSS will begin to install
- At the end of the installation, click on Close and the License Authorization Wizard will be launched automatically
- You can delete the installer by clicking Move to Bin to delete the installer from your system
- The Wizard will inform you that it does have a valid license yet. Click on Next
- In the License Wizard, select the "Authorized user license" option and click Next
- Enter the Authorization code
- Click Add button
- The license will now show in the lower box
- If you have more than one authorization code, repeat the process to activate multiple features or modules at the same time. Click on Next to activate the codes
- Verify that you get the confirmation of the license and click Next.
- Click Finish. Now you are ready to use SPSS
