Install NVivo on Windows

How do I install NVivo on Windows?

Answer

1. Important: Download the entire installation folder to your system before running the installation
2. Double-click the NVivo for Windows.exe file
3. Leave default language set to English. Select OK
4. Select Install
5. Wait for the NVivo 12 - InstallShield Wizard to finish preparing for installation
6. Welcome to the NVivo Installer for NVivo 12. Select Next
7. Select I accept the terms in the license agreement
8. Select Next
9. Leave default destination folder. Select Next
10. Supplementary Add-ons. Leave default selection. Select Next
11. Select Install
12. Wait while NVivo is installed
13. Select Finish
14. Enter your NVivo 12 License key from your confirmation email
15. Select Next
16. Enter your information into the required fields
17. Your license has now been activated. Select OK
18. User Profile. Create your user profile by entering your Name and Initials
19. Uncheck Participate in the Customer Experience Improvement Program
20. Select OK
21. If prompted with A new version of NVivo is available, select Download Now
22. Wait for NVivo update to download
23. NVivo update is ready to install. Select Install Now
24. Wait for files to extract
25. Welcome to the Patch for NVivo 12. Select Update
26. Select I accept the terms in the license agreement
27. Select Next
28. Select Finish
