How do I install NVivo on Windows?
Answer
Important:
Download the entire installation folder to your system before running the installation
Double-click the
NVivo for Windows.exe
file
Leave default language set to English. Select
OK
Select
Install
Wait for the NVivo 12 - InstallShield Wizard to finish preparing for installation
Welcome to the NVivo Installer for NVivo 12. Select
Next
Select
I accept the terms in the license agreement
Select
Next
Leave default destination folder. Select
Next
Supplementary Add-ons. Leave default selection. Select
Next
Select
Install
Wait while NVivo is installed
Select
Finish
Enter your NVivo 12 License key from your confirmation email
Select
Next
Enter your information into the required fields
Your license has now been activated. Select
OK
User Profile. Create your user profile by entering your
Name
and
Initials
Uncheck
Participate in the Customer Experience Improvement Program
Select
OK
If prompted with
A new version of NVivo is available
, select
Download Now
Wait for NVivo update to download
NVivo update is ready to install. Select
Install Now
Wait for files to extract
Welcome to the Patch for NVivo 12. Select
Update
Select
I accept the terms in the license agreement
