How do I install NVivo on Mac?

Answer

1. Important: Download the entire installation folder to your system before running the installation
2. Double-click the NVivo installation file
3. Drag and drop the NVivo icon onto the blue Apps folder
4. In the menubar at the top, select Go and then select Applications
5. Double-click NVivo
6. Select Open
7. Enter your User Name and Password for your Mac. Select OK
8. End User License Agreement for QSR Software. Select Agree
9. Welcome to NVivo for Mac. Enter NVivo license key. Select Next
10. Enter your information into the required fields. Select Activate
11. Your NVivo license has been activated. Select OK
12. Enter your Name and Initials
13. Uncheck Participate in the Customer Experience Improvement Program. Select Continue
14. If prompted with A new version of NVivo is available! Select Install Update
15. Wait for update to download and extract
16. Select Install and Relaunch
17. Wait for update to install
18. Select Open Security & Privacy
19. Click the padlock icon
20. Enter your User Name and Password for your Mac
21. Place a checkmark next to NVivo
22. Click the padlock icon
23. Select Agree
24. NVivo is now installed
