Can I install Office 365 on my personal computer?

Installation Instructions:

  1. Go to office.com or microsoft365.com
  2. Click Sign In
  3. Enter your SDSU email address
  4. Select Next
  5. Enter your SDSU email address and email password
  6. Select Sign In
  7. Approve Duo prompt on your phone (if prompted)
  8. You may be asked to Stay signed in? Select No
  9. Select Install and more (drop down menu in top right corner)
  10. Select Install Microsoft 365 apps
  11. Select Install Office
  12. Run the file that is downloaded

Important: When logging into Outlook for the first time, it may ask you to Use this account everywhere on your device. Uncheck the box Allow my organization to manage my device and click This app only.
