How do I connect a networked printer on Windows?
Answer

Search Control Panel in the Windows search bar in the bottom left corner of your desktop and open it

Click View devices and printers in the Hardware and Sound category

Click Add a printer at the top

Click The printer that I want isn't listed

Select Add a printer using an IP address or hostname and click Next

Select TCP/IP Device as the Device type

Enter the IP address of the printer in the Hostname or IP Address field (ex. 192.168.0.1)

Uncheck the Query the printer and automatically select the driver to use and click Next

Click Have Disk
-
Click Browse and navigate to the folder where the driver was downloaded

Open the driver folders until a .inf file is found and click Open

Click OK

Select the model number of your printer, then click Next

Optional: Enter a custom printer name that identifies where the printer is located or leave the default

Select Do not share this printer and click Next
-
Click Print a test page and ensure the test page was printed to verify connection

Click Finish
