What is it?
Student affiliation is determined by Enrollment Services. They provide a list of current eligible students, though a nightly data feed to the system. Upon employment, students gain access to a @sdstate.edu account for business and work-related purposes, specifically, which goes away upon unemployment (see Employee page). The @jacks.sdstate.edu account, on the other hand, is given to all SDSU students for life and does not expire.
