Can I install Microsoft 365 Copilot on my personal computer?
Installation Instructions:
- Go to office.com or microsoft365.com
- Click Sign In (If you're already signed into email, you may be taken directly to step 10)
- Enter your SDSU email address
- Select Next
- Enter your SDSU email address and email password
- Select Sign In
- Approve Duo prompt on your phone (if prompted)
- You may be asked to Stay signed in? Select No
- Select the "Waffle" icon in the top left corner of your email account next to the word 'Outlook'
- Select 'More Apps'
- Sign into your email again if you are prompted
- Click the 'Install apps' button in the top right corner
- Select 'Microsoft 365 Apps'
- Under 'Office apps & devices' select the 'Install Office' button
- This will prompt a download. Once it is downloaded, run the installer and you will now have access to all Microsoft365 apps on your device.
Important: When logging into Outlook for the first time, it may ask you to Use this account everywhere on your device. Uncheck the box Allow my organization to manage my device and click This app only.
