How to set up SDState Employee Account

Step 1: Pick up your Account
- Visit myaccount.sdstate.edu. Click “Account Pickup”
- Enter the requested information and click Submit.
- An email will be sent to your personal email address.
- Check your email and click on the link to pick up your employee SDState account.
Step 2: Set up your Password
- Visit loginhelp.sdstate.edu
- Enter the requested information. Click proceed.
- An email will be sent to your personal email.
- Check your email and click on the link to reset password.
- Enter your email and create a password that is at least 15 characters long. Click "Reset Password".
- Remember your email and password for use with other sites listed below.
Step 3: Setup DUO
- DUO is the multi-factor authentication service SDSU provides to keep your account safe.
- Visit the Enroll in DUO page for instruction on how to set up DUO.
Step 4: Login to Email
- Visit outlook.sdstate.edu.
- Log in using your SDState Email address.
- Your password is the same one you set up in Step 2.

Step 5: Login To InsideState
- Visit insidestate.sdstate.edu
- Log in using your first.last and @sdstate email password
